Rónán Ó Snodaigh, lead singer and percussionist with Irish band Kíla, performs an intimate solo concert in The Hot Spot Music Club. Known as one of Irelands greatest bodhrán players and gaeilgóir singer songwriters', Rónán also has a repertoire of fabulous guitar-based folk songs from his solo album Tip Toe, The Playdays and Water off a Ducks back. Rónán’s solo concerts combine a mix of his beloved Irish language, bodhran, guitar, harp and the occasional poem. The last time Rónán played in Greystones, he was joined by the town's resident Damien Rice, who is a long time friend. Rónán features on a track on Damien’s latest release - My favourite faded fantasy and played with him recently in Dublin and New York .
