Expatriate New Yorker Ben Prevo is one of Eire's best kept secrets ! The genre - bending guitarist, vocalist and composer brings the honesty, integrity and simplicity of the blues to a varied repertoire of songs and instrumental both original and covers ranging from country and psychedelia to blues and funk and jazzy flavours -- dylan to hank williams to hendrix to jimmy webb - and more....

Playing professionally for over 30 years Ben has had the honour of performing with Levon Helm, Rashied Ali, Jerry Gonzales, Chuck Leavell, Benny Mardones, John Hall. Jerry Jemmott, Jaco Pastorius, Juma Sultan, Pee Wee Ellis, Ace Frehley, Jorma Kaukonen, Chris Spedding, Brian Downey, Leo Barnes, Jerry Fehily, Liam O Maonlai, U. P. Wilson, Lefty Diz, Lowell Fulson, Noel Redding, Public Enemy, Mick Ronson..... as well as many 'lesser known' but equally fabulous musicians. Ben has performed in cultural halls in europe, the main stage of The Gaiety and The Olympia and dives and clubs and pubs from Forth Worth to London to Ballyferriter to Crested Butte Wyoming to the hard rock cafe in Bucharest... The good thing about a Ben Prevo gig is you may hear some of the same songs -- but it will always be different !
