The events are a great opportunity to meet up with old friends and make some new ones. The HOT SPOT MUSIC CLUB is a friendly and relaxed venue.  Read below for details of all of the events taking place.

Roll Over Beethoven – July Tour Dates

Daniel Jeanrenaud alias ‘The Camden Cat’ and Rockin’ Roll king of the London underground is heading your way for a short Irish tour. He has assembled a band of Irish musicians to augment his sound of the greats! The Hot Spot Music Club is proud to present this first ever Irish tour.

If you like Chuck Berry, Eddie Cochrane, Elvis or Fats Domino do not miss this tour! Daniel Jeanrenaud is fronting James Delaney on keyboard who has played with Chuck Berry himself as well as Van Morrison; Simon Farrell on double bass who toured with Imelda May in 2008 and Shane Atlas on drums. Other bands under their collective belts include Gavin Povey & the Pavement Kings.

    LADY, Sing the Blues

    After 2 sellout performances, Ireland’s leading female blues singers are singing the blues again in Greystones, telling the story of woman’s role in the progression of the blues.  Divas for this evening are Clara Rose, Flo McSweeney & Emma Nicolai. The show’s content celebrates artists like Bessie Smith, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Etta James, Janis Joplin, Ella Fitzgerald, Dinah Washington, Nina Simone, Ruth Brown, Bonnie Raitt, Peggie Lee, and many more.

    The setlist includes the following iconic songs - Cry Me A River, I’d Rather Go Blind, My Baby Just Cares For Me, Georgia, Summertime, Nobody Knows you when You’re Down and Out, Ain't Got Nobody, Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood, My Baby Just Cares For Me, This Train, Ain't Nobody's Business, Try A Little Tenderness, Little Red Rooster, Ninety Nine And A Half Wont Do, To Love Somebody.

    Our house blues band comprises Ireland’s best blues musicians including James Delaney who has played with some of the greats like Van Morrison, and Ed Dean one of Ireland’s premier blues guitar players.
