NEW ORLEANS STYLE - PIANO - RHYTHM AND BLUES - on HALLOWEEN

Van Morrison and Joe Cocker, Albert Lee and Grahame Parker, Meatloaf and Al Green all have one thing in common! What’s that I hear you say?  They have all shared the stage with Gavin Povey who is probably the best exponent of Rhythm & Blues, Boogie-Woogie, Swing, Stride, Funk and Rock & Roll to be seen in Ireland since the foundation of the state almost ninety nine years ago.  Mixed in with this elixir are hints of Jazz, Country and Blues too.  Fellow virtuosos, Felim Gormley on Sax, Simon Farrell on Bass; Shane Atlas on Drums & Dylan Povey on Percussion. Expect classic songs from all eras of New Orleans style music as well as some of their own material. This will be a stompin’, jivin’,  groovin’ evening! We’ll be rolling back the chairs and freeing up the dance floor so dust off your crepe soles and get on down and get rockin! (or just sit quietly and tap your feet!)

Doors open 9pm -  HALLOWEEN - 50s/60s/70s Dress up is optional but more fun!!
